The Sudbury District health Unit test the Recreational Water in June, July, and August.
They were here on June 11 to take 5 different samples from the Gogama Public Beach to
make sure that our beach is safe for swimming. They test for bacteria, blue-green algae,
they check for hazards, and any visible signs of contamination. You can find more
information on the Public Health Sudbury & Districts website. www.phsd.ca
The Gogama Local Services Board will be holding elections in August. More information
will be posted with dates and the nomination process.
Until then, have yourselves a safe and wonderful summer making memories with family
and friends.
